Condolence From: Bob Everett

Condolence: I am so very sorry to hear of Ray's passing. I started at Dichello Distributors just about the same time Ray started at Star, and in those early days, worked alongside him on those lousy routes in New Haven. No matter how many stops Ray had, he was always willing to help me with my tough ones. Since I retired, I would often see him in Wallingford and running into him always seemed like it was the first time we'd seen each other in years. A big smile, a handshake, and a hug. The last time I saw Ray, he pulled his truck alongside my car at a red light and just to bust my chops about being retired always asked me "What day is it?" I always gave him the same reply. "Saturday"
He was a good man and a good friend and I will miss him very much!
