Condolence: I had the pleasure of meeting and spending some time with Carmel, but only for a short time while visiting her with my wife in CT. One memory I'll always keep was an Italian dinner, of course. Though there was too much food to be had, Carmel had to be sure everyone had enough to eat. It felt like a scene from an Italian family movie. Then over the years, she was also sure to always say hello and ask how I was doing during phone conversations with my wife and I, even in times when her health declined. My condolences go out to the Lombardozzi and extended family on the loss of Aunt Carmel.

Condolence: Sending our deepest condolences to my cousin's Phyllis (Phillip)DeRosa, Peter (Kathy) Lombardozzi, Peter Jr. Melissa & Angelina on the loss of their Mother and Grandmother. Also to my mother, Gloria(Fuoco)Farina and Uncle Dino Fuoco, on the loss of their sister. To me she was my funny, nurturing, caring, loving Aunt Carmel and I was her "apple pie"(which is what she often called me). We shared birthday's one day apart and she never missed a phone call to sing happy birthday to me. I will have forever fond memories of our family's Summer vacations either in FL. or CT. Growing up she always knew how to keep a secret and never held back on speaking her inner thoughts out loud to make a point even if it was in another language (Italian). Later in life, she always kept in touch and cared about what was going on in our life, always asking about and hoping the best for everyone. I feel so lucky have had Aunt Carmel in my life and thank her from the bottom of my heart for the lifetime of advice, wisdom, and laughter she provided me over the years. Gloria Jean (Mark) Ray

Condolence: To my dear sister Carmel,
Not only my sister but my best friend. I have lots of memories...went square dancing on Saturday nights in our younger years-going to the casino when I visited her in Connecticut and all these Italian restaurants plus her delicious cooking, especially potato cakes! We would chat on the phone for hours, sharing recipes and talking about the good old times growing up together. Every afternoon at 3pm we would sit and relax, have our coffee and goodies. We also ended our phone calls saying "I love and miss you". All these memories and more will be in my heart forever. I will miss her deeply. Rest in peace.
Love, sister Gloria

Condolence: I can write a novel on how I feel about my mom.She gave me 2 magnets saying a daughter is a special gift to be cherished forever and a daughter is a forever friend and so glad you are mine. That is how I feel about her as well.Happy memories as a child going downtown getting popcorn, lunch,& toys.In highschool being there when I needed advice. My marriage-sharing words of wisdom on life & love. She gave me her recipes & we loved cooking together. Our casino trips & even after we were stranded driving to the casino-my mom hopped in the tow truck,we stayed overnight & had a ball. Our shopping trips & many mother & daughter chats on "everthing". She had a heart of gold. She told "it as it was" & I will miss her terribly but she will be with me always.I have no regrets. As my mom would say-"Love you always & forever! Your loving daughter Phyllis.
