Obituary for Joseph J. "Joey" Naclerio

Joseph J. “Joey” Naclerio died suddenly on Thursday August 17, 2017 after fighting valiantly against cancer. He is survived by his wife of 57 years Sandra B. “Sandy” Naclerio, sister Anne Potenziani, predeceased by 3 brothers and 5 sisters, also survived by “Special Angel” Melissa Tranquilli, “Golden Children” Michael & Christine Radcliffe also April Giano ,and numerous nieces and nephews, neighbors and friends. The Naclerio family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Bradley Richards and his nursing staff on the 5 north at St. Rapheals as well as Dr. Toosy.
Graveside services will be held on Monday August 21st at 10:00 in Beaverdale Memorial Park, New Haven. A period of mourning will be observed on Monday from 2 to 4pm & 7 to 9pm, Tuesday from 2 to 4pm & 7 to 9pm and Wednesday from 2 to 4pm & 7 to 9pm at the Naclerio residence, 121 Parker Avenue East, West Haven. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Congregation Sinai, 1000 New Haven Avenue, Milford, CT 06460 or to the Smilow Cancer Center, PO Box 1849, New Haven, CT. 06508, www.giveclosertofree.org. Arrangements are in care of the West Haven Funeral Home at the Green.
