Obituary for Brittany M. Riccitelli

Brittany Riccitelli departed this world to join the angels on May 13, 2017. She was born December 18, 1989 in New Haven, Connecticut to Vincent and Laura Riccitelli of West Haven. She is survived by her brother James Riccitelli, his wife Elisa, and sister Amanda Riccitelli. Aunt to James Jr. and Julia Riccitelli. She is also survived by grandfather Ken Bradley, Aunt Debbie Bradley, Uncle Ray Bradley, Aunt Phyillis and Mike Piscitelli, Uncle Joe Riccitelli, Cousins Stephanie (Mark) Scalzi, Jen and Mike Piscitelli. She will be missed by her German Shepard's Lexi and Bear. Brittany was predeceased by her paternal grandparents Assunta and James Riccitelli. Brittany graduated from ACE'S program in 2011. She went to St. Vincent's program in Stratford. Brittany brought a special light and energy to any room that she was in. Even though she never walked or talked and had severe disabilities, it never stopped her in the life that she lived. Her family and friends will miss her smile and laughter. She was the "angel her mother always wanted" and will be dearly missed by her whole family.
Visitation will be Thursday from 4 to 8pm with a funeral service at 7pm at the West Haven Funeral Home at the Green. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers please donate to Crossroad Physical Therapy, Attn: Laureen Moran, 106 Route 66, East Columbia, CT 06237.
