Obituary for Michael J. Wilcock

Michael J. Wilcock, age 64, of Woodmont passed away on February 12, 2017. Born in New Haven, son of the late Harold Ferdinandus and Margaret H. Wilcock. He is survived by his niece Stacy Lilly and her husband Terence, his nephew Shawn Wilcock and his wife Jenn, his cousins Peter Wilcock and his wife Maryann, his dear friend Diane Tesla and numerous other friends. Michael is also survived by his faithful companion, his dog Marnell. He was predeceased by his sister Patricia Lamb. Michael was a former employee of Sikorsky Aircraft. He was a member of the Milford Trees, volunteered for the Special Olympics CT, and he was an avid gardener.

A Celebration of Michael’s life will be held on Friday March 3rd, 2017 from 5-7pm, with a remembrance service at 6pm, at the West Haven Funeral Home at the Green. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to either Milford Trees Inc. www.milfordtreesinc.org or Special Olympics Connecticut, 2666 State St. Suite 1, Hamden, CT 06517 www.soct.org.
