Mildred R. “Cookie” Kusmit, age 72, of West Haven passed away with her family at her side on February 8, 2017. She was the loving wife of John F. Kusmit. Cookie is also survived by her adoring children Brenda Lee Beaudoin McKiernan, Charles Thomas Beaudoin, and Jodi Jane Beaudoin, her cherished grandchildren Francis Charles McKiernan and Joshua Alexander Brown and her faithful cat Bogey. She was predeceased by her brother Thomas Sperry. Cookie was a certified nurse’s aide for many years. She enjoyed crocheting and spending time with her family and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday February, 18th 2017 at 11am at the West Haven Funeral Home at the Green.
