Condolence From: Nina Burke

Condolence: My deepest sympathy and prayer go to you and your families for your loss. I met Virginia in hairdressing school in 1977 and she worked for me at my first shop, Hair For You on First Ave in West Haven. She always had a smile for everyone and was well loved by all. She was there to work on the day I got married and when my water broke at the salon with my daughter the following year(1987) I did her hair every Thursday morning at 9:00 until she became ill. I've lost touch with her the last few years and was sad to hear of her passing. My sympathy goes to all of her family. Nina Burke/Owner Hair By Nina Salon, West Haven

We are so sorry to hear of Virginia's passing. She was so blessed with a beautiful family. We have many fond memories, especially Millie and Val, of fun times together... always laughing. That is how she will be remembered. A wonderful, loving person she was. RIP with Babs, Virginia.

Condolence: Virginia, a lovely person we met at the nursing home when we visited our mothers. A brilliant light of fun, smiles, laughter and warmth. Someone we sought out to join in with us on visits, meals, games and socials. A lady anyone would love because of that sweet, generous spirit. Virginia became part of our special extended family. Someone we truly loved and her family became our extended family as we shared looking after each other. Our prayers go out to each of her family but especially Gale who we spent the most time with. Our deepest sympathy from our family to yours. Your mom and grandmother will be laughing and smiling now as she joins those who rose before her to the arms of her loving lord.

I am lost without you. There are way too many memories for me to share on here. I do cherish each and everyone of them. Gram, I know that you would want me to share your words of wisdom with those who might not know. I feel you looking down smiling upon me now, so here it goes. Words of wisdom carried on from Virginia Vitelli "Good better best, never rest, until your good is better, and your better is best." Gram loved that saying and she very frequently said it. I'll also share with you that Gram never wanted to play bingo because, she said it was for old people and she wasn't ever going to be old. LoL... Now you will be with Dad. He has been waiting for you for 36 years. Thanks for all the things you did for me and my family. Thanks for always having homemade cookies for me after school. Thanks for teaching me how to crochet. I'm so glad I spent time with you in Florida, going to the bowling alley and out to lunch. Every time I eat a Kit Kat and a jelly donut I will think of you.
