Obituary for Ralph DeLucia

Ralph DeLucia, 88, of Ormond Beach, Florida passed away peacefully with his family by his side on July 6, 2016. For 64 years he was the beloved husband of Ann Marie DeLucia. Father of Dominic (Jo-Ann) DeLucia. Brother of Caroline Arminio of Hamden, Grace Levatino of Northford, Susan DeLucia of Palm Coast, Florida and the late Amelia Arcangelo, Alexander, Fortunato, Frank, Anthony, Vincent & Marco DeLucia. Also survived by four generations of many loving nieces & nephews. He was born in New Haven, Connecticut February 2, 1928, a son of the late Maria and Dominic DeLucia. Ralph served his country in the U. S. Navy. An East Haven resident for over 40 years, he retired to Ormond Beach in 1997. He owned and operated Double D’s Auto Supplies with his son Dominic for several years and was a member of the International Union of Operating Engineers, Local 478 for 35 years. He enjoyed the many activities in Bear Creek, Florida and his hobbies included gardening, traveling, bowling and playing blackjack.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial Saturday, July 16th at 10:00 a.m. in St. Vincent’s de Paul’s Church, East Haven. Interment with military honors will follow in All Saints Cemetery, North Haven.
