Regina Driend Ventura, age 68, of West Haven passed away peacefully with her family at her side on August 12, 2018. She was born in New Haven, daughter of the late Martin Sr. and Marion Mortimer Driend. Regina is survived by her children, Nicole (Drew) Scinto of Wallingford and Craig (Marissa Gandelman) Ventura of New Haven, her brother Martin (Elizabeth) Driend Jr. of West Haven, her nephew Martin F. (Taryn) Driend, her great niece and nephews, Camdyn, Luke and Kelson, her best friend Lynn Capone Deschamps of East Haven and the love of her life, grandson Luke Joseph Scinto. Regina loved to spend time with family and friends, enjoying dinner and cocktails at Jack’s.

The hours for visitation will be Friday from 4 to 8pm at the West Haven Funeral Home at the Green. Her funeral procession will leave the funeral home on Saturday morning at 10:30 for a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Pauls Church at 11am. Interment will be private.
